Issue: When opening the eTransaction Entry window or trying to view any encrypted credit card, the following error is shown:

A .NET Framework error occured during execution of user-defined routine or aggregate 'xp_NodusDecrypt': System.IO.FileLoadException: Could not load file or assemble 'Nodus.Encryption, Version=1.0.0.0….

Cause: A .NET framework upgrade has been performed on the server and the encryption process is referencing the signature of the version that was installed when Credit Card Encryption was installed.

Resolution:

First, check your CCE Version. (Locate the program in Add or Remove Programs or Programs and Features, and then click the program for more support information.)

Note: Please contact your System Administrator to resolve this issue.

A. For CCE versions lower than 13.0.0.013

1. Log into SQL Management Studio on your GP server
2. Go to Databases -> System Databases -> master -> Programmability -> Stored Procedures
3. Locate and delete both dbo.xp_NodusDecrypt and dbo.xp_NodusEncrypt 
4. Go to Databases -> System Databases -> master -> Programmability -> Assemblies
5. Locate and delete both Nodus.Encryption.Client.CCE and System.Runtime.Remoting 
6. On the SQL server, go to the Start Menu -> All Programs -> Nodus Technologies -> Credit Card Encryption -> Nodus CCE Configuration
7. Push the 'Select SQL Server' button and type in your server or server instance in the first field
9. Enter the 'sa' username and password
10. Push the 'Test' Button and if successful, push 'OK'
11. Back in the Nodus CCE Configuration window, push the 'Update from Nodus Encryption Client Configuration' button. 
12. After the update completes, push the 'Test Encryption' button.
13. If successful, go back to GP to test if the situation is resolved.

B. For CCE versions 13.0.0.013 or higher

1. Log into SQL Management Studio on your GP server
2. Go to Databases -> DYNAMICS -> Programmability -> Stored Procedures
3. Locate and delete both dbo.xp_NodusDecrypt and dbo.xp_NodusEncrypt 
4. Go to Databases -> DYNAMICS -> Programmability -> Assemblies
5. Locate and delete both Nodus.Encryption.Client.CCE and System.Runtime.Remoting 
6. On the SQL server, go to the Start Menu -> All Programs -> Nodus Technologies -> Credit Card Encryption -> Nodus CCE Configuration
7. Push the 'Select SQL Server' button type in your server or server instance in the first field
9. Enter the 'sa' username and password
10. Push the 'Test' Button and if successful, push 'OK'
11. Back in the Nodus CCE Configuration window, push the 'Update from Nodus Encryption Client Configuration' button. 
12. After the update completes, push the 'Test Encryption' button.
13. If successful, go back to GP to test if the situation is resolved.
