In this release, PayFabric bridges the world of retail with support for P2PE to provide higher security and an even further reduction of the scope of PCI.<\/p>\n<p>What is new in PayFabric for the May release:<\/p>\n<p>1.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Bluefin Decryptx with P2PE<\/p>\n<p>Nodus has partnered with Bluefin Payment Systems to provide support for Point-to-Point Encryption devices for PayFabric. PayFabric utilizes Bluefin\u2019s PCI approved PTS (PIN Transaction Security) hardware device &amp; Decryptx API to encrypt credit card data at the point-of-entry against PayFabric\u2019s hosted page(s). PayFabric then calls out to the Decryptx API for card data decryption prior to submitting the transaction information to the payment gateway. This delivers point-to-point encryption functionality and helps reduce the complexity and scope of PCI Compliance in regard to the\u00a0merchant\u2019s cardholder data environment. For\u00a0a datasheet\u00a0on this device, click\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.bluefin.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/SREDKey-Datasheet.pdf\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-1456\" src=\"http:\/\/www.nodus.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/keypad.png\" sizes=\"(max-width: 170px) 100vw, 170px\" srcset=\"http:\/\/www.nodus.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/keypad.png 339w, http:\/\/www.nodus.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/keypad-228x300.png 228w\" alt=\"Bluefin Decryptx with P2PE\" width=\"170\" height=\"224\" \/><\/p>\n<p>2.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Swipe\/EMV\/ApplyPay\/AndroidPay\/NFC Support<\/p>\n<p>In partnering with PAX Technology, PayFabric now supports card swipe, ApplePay\/AndroidPay\/NFC, and EMV (Europay Mastercard Visa) for card-present payment processing. Payment cards with EMV chips store the data on an integrated circuit in addition to the magnetic stripe that has been used in the past. EMV is used to eliminate counterfeit card fraud with card-present transactions. Nodus\u2019 PayFabric will now support the following\u00a0countertop and mobile\/wireless\u00a0EMV devices:<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 PAX S300 (PINPad)<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-1460 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/www.nodus.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/pax-s300.jpg\" alt=\"PAX s300\" width=\"101\" height=\"101\" \/><\/p>\n<p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 PAX D210 (Mobile &amp; Wireless)<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-1462\" src=\"http:\/\/www.nodus.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/pax-d210.jpg\" alt=\"PAX D210\" width=\"84\" height=\"77\" \/><\/p>\n<p>We will be continuing to add additional devices.<\/p>\n<p>3.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<strong>\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>Global Navigation<\/p>\n<p>PayFabric now allows merchants to manage multiple organizations from within a single PayFabric account. They can also manage and access both Sandbox and Live instances from the same account.
