What is a "Secure Internet Gatway," and do I need one?
A secure internet gateway is your connection to credit card processors. This service is a necessary component to our CCA solution in order to provide you with the most secure and reliable connection to the processors. We currently support Paymentech and Verisign internet gateways. Your current direct-dial gateway via IC-Verify will not work with CCA.

With our migration service ($995) you can maintain your credit card history, sales transaction history and settlement history. This is a service, not a requirement to upgrade from CCP to CCA.

How fast is the install process of Credit Card Advantage?
With CCA you can be up and running in as little as 15 minutes. The setup is much easier and less time consuming than the previous version of CCP-ICVerify. Implementation is as simple as creating a setup ID, choosing a plug-in verification gateway, and selecting your processor.

Will CCA require extensive training time?
The user-screens are similar to CCP and they include similar system procedures.Therefore, training time is less than 30 minutes.

How fast can my company verify credit cards with CCA vs the old CCP version?
In recent benchmark tests performed on 650 transactions, the older direct-dial up gateway required 4 hours. CCA required less than 20 minutes using Verisign secure internet Gateway and a 56K internet connection.

Will CCA support back-orders and multiple shipments?
CCA has a built in Auto-renewal of expired book system so you know the money will always be pre-authorized and available when the goods are shipped. This solution is used when pre-authorizing transactions with back-orders and later charging the credit card when various shipments on the initial order are later fulfilled.
