What EVO’s acquisition of Nodus means for you

Perhaps you’ve noticed on our website that the Nodus logo now shows we are “a division of EVO.”   We’d like to share what that will mean to our valued Nodus customers. 

In May 2018, EVO Payments, Inc., a leading global provider of merchant services and payment technology integrations, acquired Nodus Technologies to better serve Microsoft Dynamics users and EVO merchants using the Microsoft product suite.

What does this mean for you?

Many people assume that companies that are acquired transform in a way that short-changes its original customers, like discontinuing products, or doing away with friendly, personalized service.  We can assure you this will not be the case with Nodus.  Our name will stay the same.  We will not be sunsetting any of our solutions.  And, providing you with responsive customer support remains our top priority.

There will be changes – and they’ll benefit you.

The biggest advantage of the acquisition is that Nodus now has more resources to serve our customers better.  Not only are we going to continue to maintain our existing products, but more resources will enable us to develop solutions more rapidly and expand our Microsoft Dynamics product line.  Again, nothing is going away, and our offerings are only going to get stronger and better.

We also now have software development and payment processing under one roof. Not only will this help create more efficiencies and a better overall experience for Nodus customers, you’re also very likely to save on processing costs.  By being part of a global payment processor, Nodus now has the flexibility to offer customers lower processing rates than we could prior to the acquisition.
